About:Marco Polo Memorial Museum

Dear sir/madam
Yesterday I was in the china embassy to apply for a tourist visa to mainlan China. I was asked to have a letter from the person who is inviting me there. I want to know 1) should the letter be in Chinese or English? 2)The inviter should be Chinese or from any country and nationality (The person I am going to visit is a friend of mine who is Iranian and has a business company in Beijing)? 3) What should be the content of the letter? 4) Should it be a letter admitted by an officia organization or it is just a simple letter written by the inviter?
I also want to know whether I can post my documents or I have to sumbit the documents directly (in person): I am Iranian, student in Uk and I have a temporary residence card of Portugal?

Regards
Shahabi

Dear Ms. Helper

Regarding the question whether I can post my documents to the center, you said that I must not post them and I have to go to the center to submit them. But I asked the same question through an e-mail to the following e-mail address:
<span class="clspost">VISAFORCHINA.ORG|UKCENTRE</span>
They answered to me that I can post my application.
As I live very far from london I would like to be sure if I can post the documents and not necessary to go to the center to submit them.

The letter in English or Chinese is accepted by Chinese embassy because the staff in the embassy can read English or Chinese, your friend is Iranian, he can send an Invitation Letter in English, the Invitation Letter should include your passport number, name, student status in Uk, the entry numbers, stay duration, entry time and departure time, the address and contact number of your friend, you have to submit visa application in person or entrust someone else to submit visa application on your behalf. If you apply for Chinese visa in London, you should submit visa application to Chinese Visa Application Service Center. Address:Morley House,26 Holborn Viaduct London, EC1A 2AT
