could you tell me how long and difficult it is to travel from Hong Kong to Nanning i am meeting some one there but i do not speak or read chinese. Will i be able to get help in the train station and understand the correct stops i guess i am wondering if enought people will be able to understand english thanks bob

Are you planning to take a train to Nanning from Hong Kong? It seems that no train is supplied currently. If you are worried about communication very much, it is suggested that you take a flight to Nanning directly. There is no problem at the airport. You are right, few of staffs at railway stations could undertand English well.
