About:Marco Polo Memorial Museum

I am a Nigerian, studying in one of the universities here in Moscow, i want to visit my friend who is on a winter vacation at Shijiazhuang for a week, what kind of visa do i apply for? if tourist, i already have where to stay. Can i ask my friend to send me an invitation letter to serve as my hotel reservation ? Will i show any bank statement, since my friend will take care of me?please lead me on how to apply. Thanks

Thanks for your reply, but it seems u did not get my message well, what i meant was that, my friend on a Winter Vacation there at Shijiazhuang. i will be spending a week there. i read that when applying for tourist you will show your return ticket? how about if u buy a return ticket and u are refused the visa? pls tell me also if my statement of acct is necessary of that of my frds acct. and how much is the visa fee. Thxs

Ms. Nilda, you need to apply for tourist visa to China, but you should prepare all required documnets by yourself, the invitation letter from your boyfriend is useless for your visa application because he is also a short-term visitor to China, you should prepare your original passport, one passport photo, fill one completed visa application form, hotel reservation in China under your name, flight ticket to the next detination or the original port, I know that have the risk of application refusal, however, the return flight ticket is required for visa application, the finanical certificate in your name is also required. the fee for single entry tourist visa at Chinese Embassy in Moscow is 900 Rupees.

Ms. Nilda, sorry, I don't see your more information, please ignore my previous reply, you need a tourist visa to China, the invitation letter from your friend is not accepted by Chinese embassy in Moscow because he is just on a winter vacation at Shijiazhuang for one week only, he doesn't hold a visa permitting him to stay in China for a long time, you have to get a hotel reservation by yourself, the bank statement is required sometimes, you'd better prepare for it.
