About:Visa Policy of China

Hi, I hold a Swedish Passport and am now residing in HK. I am planning to go to Tibet via Nepal in May. Except the China visa, do I need to apply a Tibet Permit? I would like to know where and how to apply. Thanks

you should get the Tibet Permit before you apply for Chinese tourist visa. For applicants who are going to Tibet, an entry permit issued by Tibetan Tourist Bureau is required. (Fax number of Tibetan Tourist Bureau: 0086-891-6834632; Telephone number:0086-891-6834313). You can contact a travel agency in Hk to get the entry permit and Chinese tourist visa for you.
