About:Chinese Embassy in U.K.

Hi,
I have been offered a contract to work in a Uni in China. Normally I would apply for a Z visa in the UK. However, I am visiting Indonesia and I would prefer to go directly to China from here. I have a UK passport and want to know if it would be possible to get a business visa in Hong Kong ? The company have said they will supply the necessary contraact and letter of invitation and they can convert it to a work visa. Im not sure. Also, if it is possible, could you recommend a legitimate visa agency in HK. Thanks

it is easier for you to get a Chinese business visa in Hk than in Indonesia, however, an invitation letter issued by the company you are employed and the registration license of this company is required
