You have a telephone number for your singapore embassy, but nobody answers it except for a machine.Can a singpore passport holder apply for a visa to be collected on the SAME DAY? I only see an EXPRESS 3 day collection.

You can't coolect your Chinese visa on the same day of application, the rush service of 1 working service is not available now, if you need your visa urgently, you can only apply for 3 working days processing, and pick it up one the 3rd working day.

What happens if I need to go to China immediately and cannot wait for 3 days for the visa?Can I go first since I can stay without visa for 15 days, and then apply for a longer stay when I am in China? What is the procedure and who can I approach for help /information when I am in China (Chengdu)?For the first 15 days do I need to supply details of my relatives or get any letters from them?

You can apply for a Chinese visa in the Exit& Enter Department of Chengdu Public Security Bureau when you arrive there, please obtain Chinese visa before the 15 days visa free period is up.
