Is it possible to hike from Jinshanling / Simatai south-wards for a distance of 100km to 150km ? Any villages along the route for food and overnight stay ? What is the best time of the year to do the hike ?

Most of the walls are ruined. Actually, Simaitai has been forbidden for hiking, for the way is much too dangerous.
