About:Chinese Holidays

I would like to know how many days does the paid vacation in China last and if people take this vacation in a certain period (like august is in europe). also, when they have this vacation, do they leave the city?

Paid vacation? Do you mean annual leave with salary? The employees who have worked 1 year or more but less than 10 years can have 5-day annual leave with salary. Those who have worked 10 years or more but less than 20 years can have 10-day annual leave with salary. Those who have worked 20 years or more can have 15-day annual leave with salary.
