Did you pay for fine for your overstaying in China? Generally speaking, you are prohibited to re-entry China for 5 years.

thnx MS.Carol,i was lucky not to have paid the fine, the police were kind to me,but hey ,just wondering is there a different way like writing a letter to the embassy or something otherwise its going to be hard to wait for 5 years and yet my job requires me in China twice every year.Do you think they can listen to me?

Ms.Bernadatte, I think that you can have a try to apply for Chinese visa at China Embassy in Kenya because I think that you don't have a record of overstaying in China if the police is kind.
