The train D31(11:05/14:28)could take you from Beijing south to Taishan, not D29. The ticket charge is about CNY80.00. Also D33 (14:31/18:50) which sets off at Beijing railway station is another option. You need to go to the tickets office to purchase the tickets in advance, it is in great demand at that time.
