About:Chengdu Weather

We are planning a trip to Chengdu this year. Is October a good month to travel to Chengdu and Jiuzhaigou? We are bringing along a 3 years old child, would it be a problem to Jiuzhaigou? Is Jiuzhaigou suitable for children at that time? Any tips I need to take into consideration? Any opinions are welcomed.

Every Sep to the early Oct is the golden time of Jiuzhaigou, of course Chengdu. It is ok to take kid to Chengdu;however, please be aware of the altitude sickness when you go to Jiuzhaigou. On the other hand, please take warm clothes in case of the great temperature difference in the valley.
Tips: 1. it will be better to prepare enough food for kid before going to Jiuzhaigou
2. please escape from Oct1~7, the Golden Week in China. You will find a large number of travllers everywhere.
