About:Chinese Holidays

i would like to know if china is still having holiday now adays
coz i want to come to Shanghai for Shopping and then go to YIWU in order to buy Bulk quantity of goods so pleas tell me if tghe holiday is over and if people are working now and if malls are open URGENT URGENT URGENT

When will you come to China? The most important holiday in Feb is Chinese Lunar New Year (Feb 14 to Feb 19).

I am plnaning to come any time soon as in in february but i want to know if there is any problem if i come coz i dont want to come to Shanghai and observe the Holiday i mean i heard there is no work from now til March 15 is that true
Because i am coming to YIWU shopping center to Purchase Fashion Jewelerie and Export them to Africa ( a 40feet COntainer ) so pleas tell me if the holiday wount affect my working purpose

There is no work from now til March 15？Sorry, I am not sure. The holiday time may vary from place to place. But I think that it can’t last until March 15. As I said, the Chinese New Year Holiday only lasts from Feb 14 to Feb 19. But some shops might be closed in advance because the owners might go back to spend their holidays with their families. And they might be open earlier or later. It just depends on the owners.

Besides, I heard that Yiwu International Trade Market would be closed during Chinese New Year Holiday. Usually, it will be open on the twelfth day of the first lunar month.
