Question

Just saw this website. I am going to Shanghai next Monday and would like to visit and stay a night at one of the water cities, and visit Suzhou & Hangzhou.  Which water city do you all recommend and which hotel/hostel there should I stay?  Is there a reasonably priced good local travel agent that anyone can recommend for these sectors?If we travel on our own, what is the best itinerary?Thank you so much.Wen

There are ZHouzhuang and Tongli are all good choice for you. They are all watertown on the way from Hangzhou to Suzhou. Shanghai has direct bus to ZHouzhuang. After visit ZHouzhuang, you can take bus to Suzhou and then back to Shanghai by bus or train.
