About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

Hello there,
I was offered a job in GuangZhou China as an International Sales Executive. Can I apply for a "L" tourist visa and let the company in China convert it into "Z" visa once I am in China? If this is not possible, what are the other requirements I need to submit to apply for the work visa other than those stated on the China Embassy Website? I've heard that I need to go to other agencies like CHED, DFA, and POEA to authenticate some documents like birth certificates, diploma and apply for OWWA membership. Is there someone familiar with the whole work visa application process in Philippines? Can I request a travel agency to do the work visa application on my behalf? Your advise is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

You'd better apply for a Z visa in Philippines, with the original employment license and Z visa notification letter.

You need the help of some visa agent to convert L directly to residence permit for work (work visa) in China mainland. Of cource, you need to pay extra.

Or you can come to China first and try to apply for a Z visa in HK later with the documents required.
