About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

I have a passport with a valid residence permit. I went home for vacation and decided to renew my passport here in Manila. They return my old passport and now Im waiting for the new one. I would like to ask if the residence permit stamped on my old passport will still be valid when I return to China or do I need to go to the Chinese Embassy here for a new visa.

If your resident permit still have duration then it is valid ..no matter if it is not in your new passport ... but dont forget to bring your old coz some immigration officials may ask for that ..
