I AM GOING THERE AS A  X VISA  FOR STUDYING 3 YRS IN CHINA  AND I WOULD LIKE TO TAKE MY MOTHER WITH ME THIS TIME ALONG WITH ME  TO VIST MY UNIVERSITY AND STAY THERE FOR 30 DAYS SO IS THE FILLING FORM AND PASSPPRT PHOTOCPY ALONG WITH A PHOTO IS OK FOR GETTING HER A VISA .Thanks

You can have a try when you apply for your X visa, maybe the return air ticket and hotel reservation are also required for your mom. The requirements vary according to the situation, if consular official feel that your mom just go to China to send you for study, maybe the procedure is simple.
