About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

I have recently got a job in china and not starting untill march i will receive a z visa when i get there does this mean i still need a entry visa?

yes, you need an entry visa to go to China. Do you stay in China now? Do you mean that you can get a work visa within China after you enter China by holding tourist visa?
