About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

I am a US citizen and will be visiting Singapore next week. I am currently carrying a student visa for China, which will expire on January 31st. I return to Shanghai on Feb 2nd - and therefore need a new visa. I will no longer be studying and will apply for a tourist visa. I heard that in Singapore - the Chinese Embassy no longer gives 1 year multiple entry visas - is this true?

Thank you,

Christina

I don't hear such a news, but I know that we can't get a multiple entry visa in Singapore, The Chinese embassy issue an news: Temporary visitors to Singapore should apply for a Chinese visa in their own country. For the special case, the visa officer has the rights to make the final decision on whether issuing a visa or not. If we are husband of a Chinese woman, or own a real estate in China, we can apply for multiple entry tourist visa in Sinagpore.
