About:Shopping in Guangzhou

Hi.
Am keen on visiting China but would like to know where exactly is a good place to shop for clothes and bags at wholesale prices? And if there are any hotel recomendations, 3 star to 4 star that is near the wholesale centres?
Other than shopping, are there any zoos or underwater world or theme parks available in Guangzhou?

Yes, it is Guangzhou, or Humen, Shenzhen is also fine, but I think HUmen and Guangzhou are the best place for wholesale business. THe wholesale market in Guangzhou is mainly around the Railway Station. Haizhu Squre is the very center of the city you can stay there too.

Guangzhou Zoo is in Xianlie Middle Road and Ocean World is in Zhongshan Erlu, both in Yuexiu District.

Hello Levia.
You will find most of the clothing wholesale markets close to the railway station. Metro goes directly to the railway station. Bags can be found in Gui hua gang with over 10.000 shops there ! A taxi from the railway station costs 8 RMB.
You can take metro, line 5 to the Zoo station. The ocean world is in there.
You can also find a water entertainment park at Chimelong, but January is too cold for that. At Chimelong you can also find a more wild zoo (safari park), a crocodile park, and amusement park. See www.chimelong.com.
