About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Hi
We will be travelling to China in May and plan to request a Multiple entry visa. All of the advice seems to be to apply no more than three months in advance. However, our visit to China is part of a round the world trip and we are leaving the UK in six weeks. Therefore, ideally we need to apply now so that everything is in order before we depart. Are we able to do this? As it is a multiple entry visa will it be valid for six months? For example, if we apply on 22nd January, would our enter before date be 22nd July? If this is the case we will be fine to apply now? Am I right? Thanks for any advice!

If you apply for Chinese visa now, and get a single entry tourist visa, it will be void before you entering China, so you have to ensure that you can get a multiple-entry / double entry visa valid for 6 months, then the last date of Enter Before is 22nd July or other date in July.
