hello,      with great respect i would like to know that i had same problem like mr.wang that i was overstayed for 2 months and than i surrendered my self,detained for 25 days and fined for 6000 rmb.i came back to my country with special return pass.now i want to go back to china for studies.can i get visa for studies.thanks

You can have a try, maybe you will be on the blacklist of prohibiting to re-enter China for 5 years, now, everything is not clear, you have to submit visa application to check it.
