I leave in Shanghai and I am planning to visit some relatives to Japan during Chinese new year...in the meantime i would like to know if i can apply for a Z chinese Visa in the Embassy while i am travelling, right now i have bussiness visa.Is the office open during chinese holidays?Also...i need a recommendation letter in order to apply for japanese visa, i am travelling with a friend...do i need 2 letters or just one mentioning the 2 people?thank you

I don't think you can get a Chinese Z visa in Japan, but you can have a try, I recommend that you return to Peru to apply for Z visa. The consular office of Chinese Embassy in Japan is closed during Chinese holiday, Spring Festival.
