About:Yiwu Transportation

Is it possible to visit Yuwi from Shanghai in a matter of 8 Hrs round trip? I have one free day this coming March. I want the cheapest round trip from Shanghai to Yuwi and then back to Shanghai. If it is possible , what time do I have to leave in Shanghai to Yuwi and from Yuwi back to Shanghai? How many hours do I end up spending time to see and observe the city? It will be a party of 4 people. Can anybody recommend something? How much is the cost?

It will be very urgently to do a round-trip from Shanghai to Yiwu. Well, if you take the firstly bullet train at 07:10, you could arrive in Yiwu around 09:40. However, only slow trains could be used for returning Shanghai, which take about 4~5 hours. For example, you could take the train K8456 at 21:57 from Yiwu and arrive in Shanghai at 21:57.

Maybe you could change the plan to Suzhou or other cities closer to Shanghai.

Sorry, I have made a mistake. The train from Yiwu to Shanghai should be K8458, which leaves Yiwu at 18:31 and arrive in Shanghai at 21:57. The fare is CNY47 for a hard-seat. Well, the bullet train fare from Shanghai to Yiwu is CNY97.

Usually, these products, such as commodities, fabric..., are sold in bulk in Yiwu. You could go to Binwang Market, or the International Trade City of Yiwu, where thousands of goods are available.
