It is possible that visa is required for Singaporeans to go to China because in great event the Chinese embassy in Singapore will stop the visa privilege and issue visa to Singaporeans who visit China for less than 15 days. As I know, during the olympics, Singaporeans need a visa to China for less than 15 days stay in China.
