About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

Hi, I am going to China in May 2010 for 2 weeks. I hold a US passport however I am also a HK resident. I hold a valid "china entry card". Do I need to apply for a separate visa if I'm flying directly to Beijing from US without going through HK?

yes, you need to apply for a separate visa if you fly to Beijing directly from USA without going to HK. You should go to HK first, then go to Beijing.
