Hi,I met a chinese girl while she was studying in the UK. If i marry her, will i be able to live and work in China. I understand i can live there, but will i also be able to work there?

If you can find a job in China, then you can work. Married to a Chinese girl doesn't leally permits you live in China forever. You have to apply for Chinese visa to go to China.
