few friends and i will travel to china this coming may... we will be staying at my brother house. my brother is a malaysian working in china... so how can i apply for visa since i do not have hotel reservation.. is hotel reservation is essential requirement? and how much the visa cost for 10 days stay in beijing.. which type of visa is suitable for us

The hotel reservation is not required if you can provide the invitation letter with a copy of your brother's valid chinese residence visa and passport information page of your brother, stay in your brother's house, the cost in beijing is not high, about 200 CNY per person if you won't eat in big and luxurious restaurant.
