About:Longji Rice Terraces

I would like to take a tour of the rice terraces this spring, but I want to be sure to see them when they have water in them. Can you tell me specifically what month I can see this? I don't want to pay for a tour and miss it because I was too early or too late. Thank you!

Hi,Ms.Christina
You are a good planner. It is said that the best time to visit this site is the half month after April 15th in lunar calender as it is the time when the terrace begins to have water. Or you can go there during the half month time after Chinese Mid-autumn day. If you are going in 2010, lunar April 15th falls on May 28, so arrange your travel between the end May and the early June.
Good luck!
