About:Former Residence of Lu Shaoxu

Hi, I had a business visa with 60 days/stay, we extended it at the PSB while I was in Shanghai. The new expiration is February 2010. However, I had to return to the USA in November, I am in USA now and want to return to China but just noticed my extension stamp says "single entry". (The original visa was multiple entry). Since the extension was issued in Shanghai, can I get back to China in January, using that same extension stamp or do I have to appply for a new business visa? Thank you.

You have to apply for a new business visa. The single entry visa has been used, there is not entry left.

You can use the visa issued in Shanghai to come back.
Since the visa was issued when you were in Shanghai, China mainland, the 1 entry was for your future use within the valid period.

Just make sure it is not hard to have it extended in Shanghai again.
