Good evening,I am planing to travel to Guilin in February. Could you, please, tell me about the river level that time. And in terms of travellers, is it better to go to the place in the beginning of the month (February 1-7) or after Chinese New Year (February 20-27)? I would like to see rice fields as well. Please provide me with some info about it. Thank you in advance!

Usually, the Li River has least water in Feb, so sometimes the cruise has to stop. Actually, it is suggested that you come to Guilin in March, when there is plenty of water and the weater is more comfortable for traveling. Both before and in Chinese New Year, it is not suggested to travel in China. Good luck!
