About:China Transit Visa

I am on a Princess cruise and they say I need to visa when the ship disembarks in Shanghai. I will only be staying 1 night in Shanghai and less than 48 hours. Do I need a visa

If the princess cruise said that you need a visa for Shanghai, you'd better apply for a transit visa or tourist visa before your trip, however, the fee is high, 130 US$
