1. Visa is not required for Indian nationals traveling to Hong Kong for a maximum stay up to 14 days.
2. For applicants who would like to stay in Hong Kong longer than the visa free period allowed, for example, Indians who would like to stay for more than 14 days, the application should be submitted directly to Hong Kong Immigration Department or through the Chinese Embassy in India. Processing of such applications may take 4-6 weeks.
3. To apply for visit visa, the following documents should be provided to the Chinese Embassy or Consulate-General:
(a) Photocopy of passport details and 1 visa application form with 2 photographs.
(b) Supporting documents like financial standing, employment or business certificates, may be required.
(c)For tourist purpose, tourism itinerary and accommodation arrangement in Hong Kong; Personal particulars of relatives or sponsors including names, addresses and telephone numbers.
