About:Apply for China Visa in a Third Country

Hi there,
I will be arriving in Hong Kong in April from there i want to travel into china. I wil be in China for the purpose of tourism and i also want to do some volunteer work. I want to stay in China for two months before i return home to the UK. Please could you tell me how i go about getting a visa, what visa i would need, how long it is valid for, where can i obtain it (i am currently in Australia), and how much it is. Many thanks.

You can obtain Chinese tourist visa in Australia or in HK. The tourist visa is generally valid for three months, it costs HK$150 for single entry tourist visa if you apply for it in HK. For more information, you can refer to http://www.fmcoprc.gov.hk/eng/zgqz/
