About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

hi,
I will be going for a student exchange programme from march to july next year in shanghai.

I would like to ask:
1. if i have intentions to travel around the region, i should apply for a visa with MULTIPLE ENTRIES right?
2. I havnt been to the china embassy in singapore, but one of the requirement for the visa application for student is the physical examination record for foreigners. where should i go to have the form filled in? some polyclinic will do?

thanks!

1. you don't need a multiple entry visa if you won't travel out of Mainland China during the study period. You can travel around the region within Mainland freely by holding your F visa (you get the F visa for less than 6 months study in China) and temporary residence permit
2. the Foreigner's Physical Examniation is not required for less than 6 months stay in China.
