1) Please let me know which of the following is the most convenient way to Shantou & how long it takes to reach & by what transport (bus or train)?a) Shenzhen b) Zhuhai c) Guangzhou 2) I also intend to go Chaozhou City, if I travel by bus from one of the above city, which destination will reach first, Chaozhou or Shantou?3) Which area is the most convenient place to stay (shopping,sightseeing), any recommendation? 4) How long does it takes to travel from Shantou to Chaozhou? 5) Is one day enough to cover the places of interest in Chaozhou? Any ideal how much does it cost to hire a van or car for sightseeing? Do i need to stay in Chaozhou?Thanks.

Hi,1.Better to go by bus, it is faster than train. Guangzhou is 5 hours and Shenzhen4 horus from Shenzhen by bus. Zhuhai is farther than both. So, Shenzhen is better choice.2. different route. Shantou is nearer, taking Shenzhen for example. My suggestion: Shangtou first and then to Chaozhou (one hour's driver from Shantou to Chaozhou)3. Zhongshan Road and Changping East Road area are best places to stay4. see 25. one day is not enough. You can pick the most interesting and finish in one day. Or you should stay one night there.
