Hi I intend to travel to Korea next year but I'm taking China Eastern Airline and it needs to transit at shanghai for few hours do i still need to apply transit visa?? Thanks.

you don't need to apply for transit visa, passport holders of South Korea enjoy visa free transit in Shanghai airport for less than 48 hours (going out of airport is allowed)
