About:China Great Wall

Hi, how long would it take to travel from Beijing to the following sections of the Great Wall?
1)Badaling
2)Mutianyu
3)Simatai
It is safe for kids between 6 to 8 years old to visit the Simatai as I understand that it is not fully restored yet?

Hi, Badaling is about 43 miles to the north of Beijing which takes one and half hours to reach by 919 bus. Mutianyu is about 45 miles to Beijing and Simatai is about 75 miles. I think you'd better take the kids to Badaling instead of Simatai for safety concern. Simatai has many collasped parts and many bricks are loosen.
