About:China Train

Good day, I currently in xiamen,would going to shanghai on tomorrow 30 dec 2009. Can i know how long the journey from xiamen to shanghai? Which part of shanghai & location will be very Crowded to selebrate HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010?
My family and I (3person) would like to know budget hotel or Apartment to stay in shanghai for 5 days, Please recommend the good place in shanghai.

Hello, Ms. Paulene, it will take about 25 hours from Xiamen to Shanghai by train K198/K199. As I know, The West Nanjing Road and Bund area in Shanghai is very flourishing and busy, perhaps you can go there. For the hotel, what is your preferred area? Some of my friends often recommend me this site https://www.travelchinaguide.com/hotel for my hotel booking when I am on business trip. I found it is useful and I would like to share it here.
