i plan to travel from ningbo to xiaoshan airport by rail.

Question

I plan to travel from Ningbo to Xiaoshan Airport by rail. I understand that a shuttle bus runs to the Xiaoshan airport from Hangzhou railway station but not from the Xiaoshan railway station. Therefore, can anyone please advise me whether it is more convenient for me to stop at the Xiaoshan or Hangzhou railway station if I want to catch the shuttle bus to Xiaoshan airport.

Suggest you stop at Hangzhou Railway Station. There is an airport bus route from Xiaoshan to Airport but does not stop at Xiaoshan Railway Station. You should take city bus to Xiaoshan Long-Distance Bus Station to find shuttle bus there.
