Hi .. Can any one tell me How it was built , and why ??

The Great Wall was built on various landforms such as mountains, grassland and deserts. They were made of different materials. In mountains, the wall was made of stones or bricks, while in grassland or deserts where the stones and bricks were hard to get, the workers would use sand mixed with strong plant when built the wall.
