About:Victoria Peak

Hi All ,

First of all i must say what a great job you guys are doing maintaining a site like this and answering all the questions the tourists may have.

We are stopping over in Hong Kong for 2 days starting tomorrow and staying at hotel Marco Polo. We would like to visit the Victoria Peak but looks like HK weather for the next 2-3 days is cloudy and rainy. Would there be a point going to the Peak in such weather ?
Also, we have 2 small children and would like to avoid the Tram to go to the top of the peak if possible as we have heard that it can get quite crowded. Is there an alternate way to go to the top ? Can i hire a taxi from my hotel and ask him to take me directly to the top or do i HAVE to take the tram ?

Thanks a bunch in advance
