About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

Hi
I am Singapore PR with Malaysian IC, I intend to go to China for a business trip. May I know an invitation letter from my counterpart in China is suffice for VISA application?

The invitation letter is not sufficent, Visa conformation letter from an economic and trade bureau or a foreign affairs office of the provincial or municipal government is required.
