Ms. Ruby, the information on the official website of Chinese embassy in Malaysia is outdated, it is issued on 14th December, 2004. Therefore, I don't know whether it is correct or not now. You can go to the Chinese embassy in person or ask your friend in Kuala Lumpur to get the information. The telephone of the embassy is hard to get through, even though you get through the call, noboday pick it up.
1. The visa fee for single entry tourist visa is 30 Ringgits if you apply for it in Malaysia. If you apply for it in China, it is about 200 RMB
2. For express service, additional fees of RM140 for 1 working day processing (pick up on same day 4:30pm-5:00pm), and RM100 for 2-3 working days processing will be charged.
3. For the lastest visa application form, you can download from the website https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/pdf/visa-application.pdf
