About:Chinese Consulates in South Korea

I am an American citizen. Can I apply for a Chinese single-entry tourist visa in Gwangju? Or do I have to go to Seoul? Can I apply by mail or only in person? Are the forms for the visa available online?

You can apply for Chinese visa in Gwangju if you are near to this city. You can apply for it in person or entrust someone else to apply for you, but you can't apply for it by Email. You can download the Visa Application Form from this website https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/pdf/visa-application.pdf
