About:Chinese Embassy in Japan

Hello, I'm a US citizen living in Japan. I'm planning to visit China. What do I need to apply for tourist visa and how long will it take?

It takes 4 working days for visa processing, you should submit the following documents to the Chinese embassy or consulates in Japan according to consular districts:
a. A valid passport with enough blank pages.
b. Certificate of alien registration (to the aliens who have the visa with the period of more than half a year in Japan)
c. One recently taken, bareheaded, full-faced photo.
d. one filled Visa Application Form
e. A Chinese hotel reservation certificate and a two-way air ticket.
