My daughter is traveling with the school january 5 to 17 what is the weather visiting Beijing (wall of China),Xi'an, Hangzhou, Shanghai,she always get a cold ,I Think she can bring a down coat  or  down jacket

Bring town coat and I think down jacket is convenient to wear while climbing the great wall. It is bitterly cold in Jan, not warmer in Hangzhou and SHanghai. Beijing is the coldest, about -10C. It will be very cold if it rains in Hangzhou and Shanghai. Being scarf, hat and gloves too.
