Thank you Andrew for your reply to my earlier mail regarding one day trip to Hong Kong. I want to book a ticket for travel to Hong kong by train on 22nd December 2009 but I don't have a password despite registering with MTR. I am wondering whether I will be able to book when we arrive Guangzhou on 21st around 9pm and want to travel with the train of 8.15am. Please also let me know how far it is and how long it takes to travel from Best Western Baiyun Hotel to Guangzhou East Station.

You will depend on fortune to purchase the train ticket just one day in advance. Actually, just at the Garden Hotel,located to be opposite to the Baiyun Hotel, you could take a coach to reach Hong Kong directly.
