Any idea if there is express coach service from Gongbei to Putian? How much does it cost? How long will it take approx? And what's the timetable like? Many thanks for your help!

Currently, there are two coaches departing from Gongbei Bus Station to Putian, respectively at 19:20 and 19:40. It will take you about 20 hours on the way. So, if possible, please take a flight to Xiamen and then transfer to Putian by bus.

20 hours is indeed very long! Is there an express coach? Will it be better if I head to Guangzhou or Xiamen, then transfer to Putian? Appreciate the advise!

No, it seems no other express coach could be taken. Well, the bus from Zhuhai to Xiamen will take you about 12 hours, and the bus from Guangzhou to Putian will take you about 18 hours.
