About:Embassy & Consulates of Japan in China

Indonesian passport holder, studying in GuangDong China, would like to apply visa in GuangZhou to visit Japan during next summer holidays, July-August 2010. Is it possible to get the visa in GuangZhou and what documents are required ? I have a sponsor to guarantee all my expenditure in Japan during the visit. Thank you.

yes, you can apply for Japanese visa at the Consulate General of Japan in Guangzhou, you'd better go to the embassy in person to enquire the requirements and procedures.
