on site china visa.does anyone know the requirements for the onsite visa?  i will be staying for less than 15 days in hainan.  will i need an application and pictures?  anything else?  has anyone done this before because one of the treads on this site said the meilan airport doesn't have onsite visas anymore.  i found this confusioning and hope to find clarification.  thanks.

If you are join in a tour group, you do not need a visa in Hainan within 15 days. If not, you can apply for onsite visa at Sanya or Haikou Airports. You need to show youe passport, application, pictured and pay for the visa fee (varies as different countries, 160yuan at least, accept payment only in RMB or USD)
